Smallest positive floating-point number

**Syntax**

**Description**

returns the smallest positive normalized floating-point number on a particular computer. Anything smaller underflows or is an IEEE "denormal." ```
n = realmin
```

**Examples**

`realmin`

is `2^(-1022)`

or about `2.2251e-308`

**Algorithm**

The `realmin`

function is equivalent to `pow2(1,minexp)`

where `minexp`

is the smallest possible floating-point exponent.

Execute `type`

`realmin`

to see `minexp`

for various computers.
