The Agnes Baxter Reading Room is the library of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Dalhousie University, and is part of Science Services within the Dalhousie Library System. It is located on the ground floor (Room 119) of the Chase Building, the home of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. The university public and the public at large have access to the Reading Room from Monday to Friday during regular office hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Summer hours: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
The Agnes Baxter Reading Room houses primarily
This reading room houses the largest serials collection in Mathematics and Statistics in the Maritime Provinces, and provides regular document delivery services (through the usual delivery channels) to users throughout the region.
Mathematics and Statistics books and the remaining journals are located in the Killam Library, a short distance form the Chase Building; see the NOVANET library catalogue. A separate list of collected works in Mathematics and Statistics is being maintained at this site.
