(Aug 28, 2006) CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS Proceedings of CT 2006 (White Point) in: Theory and Applications of Categories Dear CT 2006 speakers, thanks for your scientific contributions that helped to make the conference at White Point a great success! Now that the conference is over, it is time to think about the proceedings. Many of you have already asked about this. The proceedings of CT 2006 will be published as a special issue of the journal Theory and Applications of Categories (TAC). SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: To submit an article to the conference proceedings, please send your paper, by January 15, 2007, to any member of the TAC editorial board (see http://www.tac.mta.ca/tac/geninfo.html#edlist). Articles should be prepared in the TAC style (see http://www.tac.mta.ca/tac/authinfo.html) and should be submitted electronically in Postscript or PDF format. Please be sure to indicate, along with your submission, that you wish your article to be considered for the "CT 2006 special issue". (The article should be related to your CT 2006 talk). Please also send a copy of your request to the TAC managing editor (in addition to whatever editor you are submitting to). All the articles received will be refereed by the same procedure, and to the same high standards, as any other paper submitted to TAC. Caveat: in the unlikely event that there will be very few submissions, the editors reserve the right to cancel the special issue. In this case, the successful articles will be published as part of a regular TAC volume. We would like to point out one particularly agreeable feature of TAC: since it is an online journal, articles will be published as soon as they are accepted. Therefore, unlike special issues in print journals, publication of your article will not be delayed due to problems with other articles. We encourage all of you to write and submit articles to this special issue, so that the conference proceedings will properly reflect the great variety and excellent quality of the talks at CT 2006! The CT 2006 organizers, Robert Dawson Dorette Pronk Peter Selinger
