MATH 3330: Presentation Topics

Presentations:

Presentations will be given in groups of 3 and should be 10-15 minutes long.  Each member of the group should actively participate in the presentation and preparation.  Make sure to use examples to explain the topic and also give the formal argument.  Do not reproduce text from the book.  Use your own words and try to explain as clearly as possible.  If you want to use a data projector or slides (both of which are entirely optional), please let me know in advance.

HANDOUTS:

Please prepare a 1-2 page handout for classmates so that they can focus on your presentation and not fret about taking notes.  Handouts should cover important aspects of your talk, but need not be all-inclusive.  Handouts need not be typed, but should be clear and legible.  If you would like me to make the copies of your handout, please bring the page(s) to be copied by my office with enough time for this to take place.  If instead you would like to make this available as a PDF file on our BLS and course websites, that can be arranged, but should be done before the timing of your presentation.
