Because of the winter storm warnings for the Halifax Region, Game 1 (scheduled for tomorrow) has been postponed. The new date for the game has not yet been decided. Games in other regions may also be postponed. Please contact your regional coordinator if you are unsure.

E-mails concerning contest dates for the 2008-2009 season have recently been sent. We are using new mailing list software, so if you have not received notice and believe you should be on our list, please send a request to mathleague@mathstat.dal.ca.

However, since the September questions were not properly advertised (author's fault!), we will treat last month as a "practice round" whose results will not be counted towards the final team tallies. October questions will soon appear!

Welcome to the 2008/2009 Nova Scotia Math League Season. We're pleased to announce the appointment of our new provincial co-ordinator, Professor John Irving of Saint Mary's University, who has been actively involved with the NSML for over two years.
We are currently setting the dates for the upcoming season. Please contact us as soon as possible with dates that do not work for you. This includes exam days, PA/PD days, Winter and March break, previously planned school events (such as basketball tournaments, drama competitions, etc.). Remember, we do not have access to your school or school board's calendar. We will try to accomodate as many people as possible.
