Mathematical Problem Solving

Lectures: TR 8:35 - 9:55, LSC C332 Assessment:
The course work will be mostly assignments (probably 4 of them) but may include group work, presentations and participation in the class. There will also be homework sets that will be given out as practice and will not be marked. The tests are cumulative and will occur every three weeks. They will be written in class but there may be a take-home component. There will be no final exam. Topics to be covered include Methods of Proof, Equations/Algebra, Inequalities, Geometry, Number Theory, Probability and Combinatorics/Games. Grading Scheme:
